Some of you may have already recognized I have been putting up treats' video on youtube so that people can hear the sound, see Palette in action and get more detail on products.

In previous entry titled Long lasting chews/recreational bones for dogs,I talked about what regular Deer Antlers is, and how much I love (and of course, how much my stumpy "Palette" the Corgi loves) this regular Deer Antlers for long lasting chew.
To recap, regular Deer Antlers is Deer horn if you will. Deer shed Antlers once a year and, it is harvested for dogs to chew on. Our regular Antlers come from Domestic free-range Elk/Deer and, comes with different thickness, texture, color, shapes( Some are branched out two ways, some are straight, some are different shapes),length and it gives your dogs more variety of fun to chew on.
No Antlers come same. We have 4 sizes available;XS (2-4 inch),M (4-7 inch), L (5-10 inch),XL (6-10 inch), XXL (6-12 inch)but I put pictures of L size Antlers bellow to make a point.
Regular Deer Antlers "L" size
I have found this long lasting chew"Regular Deer Antlers" years ago. I was not sure if Palette would enjoy it,but she was hooked with this regular Antlers and goes back to Antlers religiously 2 times a day, each about 15 minutes chewing session and despite the fact that how much she enjoy gnawing so much and going back to Antlers daily,it has been lasting more than 1 year. Same Antlers are being chewed for so long.
Months ago, I have found another very interesting and unique kinds of Deer Antlers for her, and it is Deer Antlers Bottom. This is bottom of Antler, sliced like disc. Each bottom is about 3" width, about 1" thick height.

If you compare the pictures, you can see the difference between this Deer Antler bottom and the other Antlers right away. Difference is, with the way it is being cut, and since it is being bottom of Antlers (bottom is thicker than tip of Antler), it expose more marrow on surface. Our k9 executive chef "Palette" loves to lick the center of the Antler bottom (marrow) and loves to gnaw holding with stumpy paws. Marrow part is more visible when dog licks, and you can see marrow area more easy with this picture bellow. The picture bellow is taken after Palette was gnawing on it.

Deer Antler Bottom after Palette was gnawing on it
These days, Antlers are getting popular dog chew and many pet supply stores offer them. Some retailers offer split Antlers, which is regular Deer antler split into half length-wise to expose more marrow to chew on. I am not comfortable even trying those out on Palette for taste testing because it sounds easy to break into chunks since it is not as thick as regular Antler. Palette is moderate chewer, but I am not comfortable trying it out with her. If you have aggressive chewer, then, split Antlers would not be good chew choice for them with the same reason I have for Palette.
Deer Antler bottom is as hard as regular Antlers we offer on our website and, it lasts long. When our dog is not chewing onit, I grab it and roll on our carpet and Palette chase after the Antler bottom. For her, this Deer Antler bottom can offer 3 kinds of fun:gnawing fun as chew toy, chasing after it like ball toy although you cannot throw like a ball just roll on carpet, and herd it with some barks.
Deer Antlers provide natural minerals and it is much better choice for gnawing pleasure, and worth the cost for chews compare to bully sticks.
No Antlers bottom come with exact same height, and width but average width is roughly 3", and 1" height. It does not splinter. More like slowly saw down by chew. It has no odor, and no mess on your carpet also.

I wrote Palette's Regular Antler has been enjoyed for more than 1 year, but how long it would last for your dogs will be depending on dogs' jaws ability to chew and how long they spend on it. With this Antler bottom, it seems like as hard as regular Antler and,I would imagine this will be with Palette long time, but we will see how long it will last.
Like any other chews,Please supervise your dogs when they are chewing Antlers and, when it gets small enough for dogs to swallow, please take it away.
It is always good practice to wash the regular Antlers with warm soapy water thoroughly before handing them to your dog.

We LOVE our deer antler chews! There are 6 of us corgis here and our Auntie Sadie who is a Border Collie. Grammy got one deer antler about 6 months ago from Yassy's Gourmet Dog Kitchen, and we've all taken turns chewing on it every day! It finally got down small enough that she decided she'd better get another one before it got too short and we wouldn't have one at all. She ordered another large regular antler, an antler with velvet and one of the antler bottoms. We are all so overjoyed because now we have even more time to chew on each of them because there are more to go around. We are all SOOO HAPPY! Thank you!

It is great to hear your crew is enjoying Antlers as much as Palette does.Palette still gnawing the same Antler I got for her to try out almost 2 years ago.. Now she has 3 kinds of Antlers to choose from, and might slow down to get the oldest Antler she got small enough to take away. Antler is definitely her favorite gnawing item of all time
